Nidia grew up in Queens and now lives in Long Island with her husband and two wonderful boys. Nidia holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts from St. John’s University. During college, she worked as a dental assistant and the impact of helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles, urged her to continue her studies in the dental field. She obtained her Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Farmingdale State College.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Nidia is passionate about teaching her patients the importance of oral health and its effects on overall health. She is proud to form part of Dr. Vassallo’s team and loves working with patients from all stages of life, building trusting relationships, and learning new things from each of them.
Nidia’s favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family, traveling to new places and trying different foods. In between work and family, she seeks opportunities to provide oral healthcare services to those in need. She plans to continue her education, in order to provide her patients the best care and treatment in the ever-evolving world of dental hygiene.
Alexandra has lived in the Three Village area her entire life. Alexandra has worked as a dental assistant with us at, CV dental while obtaining her Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Plaza College in Queens.
Alexandra has always had an interest in becoming a hygienist ever since being a small child. She is very passionate about oral health and the impact it has on her patients. Alexandra loves building relationships with all of her patients while not only helping them with their oral health needs, but educating them on how to care for their oral health. While at Dr.Vassallos office Alexandra aims to grow her education and skills to provide the best care for her patients.
Alexandra enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to the beach. She strives to give superior services to patients and her Vassallo team members. Making patients feel comfortable at the dentist is extremely important to her.
Melody has lived in Lake Ronkonkoma for most of her life. She then got married in March of 2020 and bought a house in June of 2020 where she now resides in Ridge, New York with her husband Tom, 2 sons and 2 cats. Her son’s names are, Dillon who is 3 and Lucas who is 1.5 years old.
Mel has been a Dental Hygienist since 2013, where she obtained her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene, at Briarcliffe college. She then continued to get her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene Education and completed it in 2015.
Melody was inspired by her Hygienist when she was a little girl and from then, has always had an interest in becoming a Hygienist since then. She has always been passionate about being in the medical field, specifically Hygiene. Mel always finds it very rewarding to educate her patients in oral health and how important it is to treat your oral health the same as you would treat your own body. She strides to make sure her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair, as some patients experience anxiety when going to the dentist. Mel will continue to provide the best dental care and skills for her patients.
Melody loves spending time with her family, movies(horror), gym, cooking, and is a homebody. She will continue to strive and give the best services to her patients and make them feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits. It is also very important to her to be a good coworker and team player to her team members, as it is very important to her to have a good work environment and work family.
