It is not very often that you choose a career at age 12, but that is exactly what Dr. Peter Vorilas did. He graduated Binghamton University in with a BA in Biology and subsequently earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. While at NYU, he was awarded the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for his superior performance in providing oral comprehensive care and administering a dental practice. After graduating NYU, Dr. Vorilas completed a General Practice Residency at Brooklyn Health South. Dr. Vorilas is a passionate and understanding dentist that focuses on listening to the patients and their needs in order to best solve any problems at hand.
Although Dr. Vorilas places a great emphasis on learning new skills, he believes that being a dentist is about making patients feel comfortable and cared for. He is constantly learning and growing, and the patients he cares for allow him to do so each and every day. Dr. Vorilas continuously expands his education and knowledge with the most up to date technology in dentistry including digital scanning and design.
On his days off, Dr. Vorilas is an avid skier, volunteers as a volleyball coach for a local youth organization, eats lots of Greek food, and enjoys watching sports.
