Welcome to our dental office! I understand that our patients place a great deal of trust in me and I value each and every one of you. Dr. Vassallo graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2003 and went to a General Practice Residency New York Presbyterian Queens from 2003-2004.
Dr. Calogero Vassallo is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Suffolk County Dental Association, and Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is a former Dental Attending at Brooklyn Health South General Practice Residency Program, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at StonyBrook University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Vassallo received the "Attending of the Year" award in 2022 awarded by his dental residents.
Dr. Vassallo has vigorously trained in Digital Dentistry which he teaches and includes in everyday practice. He is very active in Continuation Education to remain up to date with the latest innovations in General and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Vassallo is married with three children - 21-year-old Alyssa Marie, 16-year-old Calogero II, and 11-year-old Giuliana! He is a big fan of sports. He enjoys going to hockey + baseball games. He also enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with them.
Dr. Vassallo is currently a mentor to a second-year Stony Brook Dental Student.
